Woodbury Heritage Society Selected as Nonprofit of the Year

Each year the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes businesses, nonprofits, individuals, educators, and public safety workers who strive to make Woodbury one of the best cities in the nation to live, work and play. We are blessed to be in a community with dedicated and driven people who want to see this community remain best in class.

On January 20,2023 Woodbury Heritage Society was selected as the “Nonprofit of the Year” at the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce Annual Community Awards Gala.

Joyce Flynn, VP of Woodbury Heritage Society accepted the award on behalf of the society and stated, “We, the Woodbury Heritage Society proudly accept this great honor. Now, we the Woodbury Heritage Society would like to pass on Woodbury’s history to you through special events, visits to our Face Book site that daily shares fun historical facts about Woodbury, open houses, speakers forum, future historical signage on the trails of Valley Creek Park, our exciting new future web site that will provide opportunities to do research, watch videos that preserve and share our local elderly individuals from Woodbury’s past memories and perspectives of Woodbury, on-line activities for families and teachers and volunteer opportunities.“
